PROJECT "CELIA and AMOS"/INDIA

Day laborer often have no fixed job. They wait daily at the "jobcenter" and if they are lucky, they find work for a day and leave their kids on the road - alone, fragile, without help, food and at the exposed to the unimaginable danger of the city. "Celia and Amos" is a project in Chennai (INDIA) - a day care center for kids of day laborers where 20 kids between 2-4 are taken care of between 9.30-14.30 and get a warm lunch. In the afternoon, between 16-18, about 30-40 kids between grade 1 -10 can help with their homework and tutoring.
